In 2014, Adrian Knight asked me to contribute a vocal part to what would be Don't Be Afraid off of his album Pictures of Lindsey.

Don't Be Afraid
is the result of that collaboration. The song starts with Adrian's pitch-shifted croons, and ends with a strange monologue that I wrote about looking at the art of a friend in a gallery. There's also a few sung parts, including my best chimpanzee impression.

Tiny Mix Tapes compared Pictures of Lindsey to the efforts of James Taylor and Arthur Russell. They also had this to say:

"The nerds have never been sexier than in 2014, ladies (and gentlemen), scoop these bachelors up while you can."

Who knows what they meant by that.
